Did the writers from Season 1 die?
7 September 2023
It feels like the writers had developed a near perfect 1 season TV series. Like most here observe , season 2 fell off the cliff. The writers obviously didn't plan for season 2 , otherwise we wouldn't have what we have here. Suddenly the lead is a Lesbian and Mitch the most interesting character is 1 dimensional while the whole thing feels off.

You have destroyed one of the best season 1 TV shows I have ever seen. Many I can see feel the same, and why? There's so much to explore and nothing has happened in season 2 yet. Its so slow , so to spice it up some half writer says , hey lets make her gay. The twist? Come on, we deserve better than that. We want what we had in season one, not this desperate run out of ideas and the obvious frustration to fill the episode. The characters have all lost their soul. Its like watching another show.

Partner Track (2022)
3/10
Go watch Suits. I wanted to love it BUT
14 July 2023
Partner Track, a recent addition to the television landscape, falls far short of the mark set by exceptional legal dramas like Suits and other notable series. With its poorly written scripts, uninspired acting, and an abundance of clichés, Partner Track fails to establish any connection with its audience or offer likable and relatable characters. It ultimately disappoints as a subpar attempt at creating captivating television.

One of the most glaring issues with Partner Track is its writing. The dialogue feels forced and lacks nuance, resulting in stilted interactions between characters. The show seems to rely heavily on overused tropes and predictable plotlines, leaving little room for originality or surprise. The attempts at injecting drama often feel contrived and fail to evoke any genuine emotional response. This formulaic approach to storytelling becomes tiresome and contributes to the overall lackluster viewing experience.

The acting in Partner Track does little to elevate the weak material it is given. The performances come across as wooden and lacking in depth, with actors struggling to breathe life into their characters. There is a distinct absence of chemistry between the cast members, making it difficult to become invested in their relationships or root for their success. The absence of standout performances or memorable moments further hampers the show's ability to engage the viewer.

Moreover, the characters in Partner Track are poorly developed, leaving the audience with no one to truly connect with or care about. They often come across as one-dimensional archetypes, ticking off boxes on a checklist of legal drama clichés. The ambitious and driven protagonist, the ruthless senior partner, the quirky yet brilliant associate - these familiar character tropes have been explored countless times in similar shows, but Partner Track fails to bring anything fresh or compelling to the table.

In contrast to great legal dramas like Suits, where the characters are multidimensional and their growth is central to the plot, Partner Track seems content to keep its characters stagnant. There is little to no character development, and the audience is left wondering why they should invest their time and emotions in a story that fails to give its characters depth or complexity. Without well-drawn characters to anchor the narrative, the show becomes a tedious exercise in clichéd scenarios and predictable outcomes.

Another missed opportunity in Partner Track is its failure to explore the complexities of the legal profession. Unlike Suits, which delved into the intricacies of the law and the inner workings of a high-stakes law firm, Partner Track barely scratches the surface. The legal cases and challenges presented lack substance and fail to engage viewers on an intellectual level. The absence of compelling courtroom scenes and legal strategy further diminishes the series' appeal.

I really wanted to love it BUT.

Horrible still lost
26 June 2023
What a shocker. Worst in the series. Don't believe those who find beauty in this. There is no beauty, just a poorly written script by someone who obviously has been on too many mushrooms. Watched it all, read on line what its about and still confused. I want that time back, what a terrible excuse to put together. A lazy script indeed and nothing you say can save it. It made no sense, no context is in the script, we are totally lost through the whole journey, makes me feel I shouldn't have started the journey. Acting was ok, black and white had no meaning other than an attempt to create a feel that didn't work. Shocker.

Worst First 20 min of any TV series but..
19 June 2023
The start of this TV series is incredibly confusing, making it difficult to follow. The writing is poorly executed, and only those with an optimistic outlook might be able to endure it. However, there is a glimmer of hope that emerges later on as the writing improves slightly. Many discussions about the fragmented script are warranted, as there is a lack of likable characters in the show. It's challenging to form a connection with them, and when you do start to feel sorry for them, they disappoint you with their nonsensical actions that make you think they deserve their own consequences.

While the occasional use of an out-of-order narrative can be effective, in this case, it creates an unrealistic portrayal of the main character's mother. She is depicted as perfect, which could be interpreted as the protagonist's idealized memory rather than reality. Nevertheless, the entire story feels disjointed, with disconnected elements such as the brother, mother, father, and rebellious daughter. It simply fails to come together in a cohesive manner, leaving the audience feeling unfulfilled. It's a chaotic mess that relies too heavily on excessive swearing, sex, and unmet expectations.

Nothing like the Office or Parks and Rec. This isn't funny
21 April 2023
Poor script with very unfunny scenes... its a shame to even mention the office in the same paragraph. Seriously I can't understand how people see it as funny. With only a few likable characters, they miss the target in having likable , relatable characters we can connect with. Seriously painful to watch. I persist hoping to see what some others do, but into season 2 and its getting worse. Take it out the back shed and put it out of its misery. Obviously the writers haven't done this type of show before. They hoped to catch the concept of Office or Parks and rec but compare the characters and the context of the show. This is like Monday morning writers sit there and go ...ok any ideas? No... ok lets pretend we have a story. Big miss.

Season 1 a flop season 2 WOW
13 February 2023
As described in the headline, surely there is no comaparision between season 1 and 2. Season 1 was so bad. Poor writing and not a single character was likeable. Everything was bad. The directing, the writing the scenery.

Now Season 2 comes in Italy and wow, every actor is loveable, the directing the views, the music the writing was a 10. The best casting compared the the rubbish in season 1. I am so glad they followed it up. Looking forward to what they do in season 3.

Skip season 1 go straight to season 2.

There is no way the people involved in season1 had anything to do with this. The views of Italy alone are worth the watch.

Best TV series with the worst Cinematographer
30 January 2023
What a series , its way too dark and excuses made thats the feel they want. Maybe they should look at Ozark and see how its done well. Here its done by a 5yr old cinematographer. He should never be allowed to work again. The series could have been so stunning.

Well worth watching despite this

The beauty of this series is it makes you buy into the characters and although at times predictable, the you want to see justice. Well written although I could imagine there were opportunities for sleeker writing and opportunities to make quotable statements that would go viral. A series like Westworld did that very well with deep well written script. Nevertheless still good.

Dissaster writing and directing
27 December 2022
The movie starts as slap stick comedy with unrealistic plot development and random scenes that lead to a wedding. Looks like at this point they changed writers and out of nowhere comes a new dark story of a past lover that disrupts everything. The second half is a dark drama with zero comedy. Who writes this rubbish.?

Why couldn't they introduce the first love in the beginning followed by her leaving and he is upset only to fall in love then the old love returns. It's obvious to anyone with an IQ. Totally a bad movie that the writer and director should never work again. Embarrassing for Tamer. Are there no good writers in Egypt?

How to Mess Up a good Concept
24 December 2020
Take a few great actors Antonia and Iwan... add garbage actors the rest of them...add a horrible script written by 15 year olds, in a drab monotone background ..now give them silly powers that are useless in the script planning... throw in horrible British accents and you have Misfits.... Such great potential with idiots writing the script. Antonia and Iwan must be in dread of any fans that watch this. .. Go sell this concept in Hollywood and would have nailed it.

The script concept is good, but the writing is terrible. There are lines that make you cringe. I understand why the idea was good, but the execution is everything. I found myself watching and watching knowing it was rubbish but like many the si fi concept was sound. I guess we were hoping for a miracle ..it doesn't come. Maybe the cannibals should have eaten the writers.

Critics are idiots
7 June 2020
What a great show. Yes don't compare to Office, its like MASH I agree. Drama not just loud laughing and a joke every line. Its one of those shows they will look back on and say wow that was good. So ignore the stupid critics who have no idea what is good and listen to the people. BIG hit
