On the Trail of UFOs: Night Visitors (2022)
Disappointing
The problem with this genre of documentaries is the reliance on visual effects to make this even remotely interesting, without the flicker vids of simulated UFO's this would just be people talking to other people about experiences they have had or heard of. You never walk away with something answered, you only leave with more questions and additional frustration.
I would rather not have had the visuals so at least it was based on reality and not on flights of fantasy. If you are going to use visuals use real ones.
If this subject interests you i.e UFO's and some of their alleged crimes, then you will know there is no solid verifiable evidence to substantiate these cattle were mutilated by anything off worldly, certainly not in this video. I found it boring and the visuals misleading and suggestive.
The truth is out there but it's buried beneath a mountain of lies.
The Last Possession (2022)
It's bad people, really bad
Wooden acting at best, a script so lame you'd shoot it and camerawork you'd be ashamed of.
There is no back story, or character building at all, the "dad' and I use that term loosely, comes across more as a weird family friend, the mother is ever-so slightly better but not at all convincing, there is no chemistry whatsoever between ma and pa making the lack of a relationship a bit creepy. I think the kids were probably family members of the film makers or cast, else auditions were likely "you'll do"
The plot was all over the place and cringeworthy to watch, the dialogue was just stupid most of the time and certainly not helped by the bad acting. Even the sound scene was bad starting with an attempt at painting a creepy scene but coming over as the start to a trance track.
The ending left me gobsmacked, it was genuinely a WTF moment.
I Am Mortal (2021)
Logic takes a back seat....
Ok immortality, if you can die you are not immortal you may live longer but that doesn't make you immortal. A perfect example of the stupidity of what people consider immortality can be can be seen in Highlander, they call themselves immortals, well until you chop their head off and absorb their life essence... immortality fail.
Immortality is, regardless of what happens to the body, the body will still live, even if you get to end up like mincemeat, so, there would have to be some self assembly process like the body will either regenerate and or reconstitute it's form to an encoded template. I cannot conceive immortality would be that much fun to be honest because we would need different brains, brains that can adapt to the rapid changes in knowledge and not be hardwired to a birth era, talk to an 80-90 year old and you will see what I mean.
Secondly you cannot have a trans-human human, once you have altered the DNA they are no longer human. Trans-human is a term to make dehumanisation more palatable.
Alien Conquest (2021)
Dire, just dire.
I swear my eyes bled watching this mongrel of a flick. I would have rather cut my nails with a cheese-grater.
The state of movies of late is mind-numbingly boring, there is a decided lack of imagination and intelligence.
Everything is a cliché, the super-hero movies are just...
"Good guys, gals and aliens, fight bad guys, gals and aliens, all fighting in designer spandex with a table cloth around their necks." You'd lock these people up if they were roaming around on a council estate.
What boggles my mind is the movie makers actually convinced someone to part with money to produce this and to that end I applaud you, If you have learned how not to make a movie from this, again I applaud you but I beg you, please do not ever make a movie this bad ever again.
As Yazz would say "the only way is up, bay'bee"
Terminator: Dark Fate (2019)
I watched the trailer and saw the film
Much like the terminator, this movie franchise emulates the relentless pursuit of a victim, in this case it happens to be the audience and much like the terminator wants to squeeze the life out of the human race, this franchise wants to do the same to the audiences purse because I can see no other reason for making this movie.
Leave your brain at home and be amazed at the CGI, because really, that's all this movie has going for it. The acting is okay but I'm sure for the actor it's tiring to know, all you are doing is rehashing similar scenes that were done better the first time.
Ok how about this for a plot line and yes it's copyrighted and I want a 20% cut of the profits...
The resistance catch on to another terminator going back in time, so John Connor and his band of kick ass warriors fight against insurmountable odds, to get access to the time machine. They try to destroy it but can't so in desperation, they change the date the terminator is going back to but... As the time machine kicks in John Connor gets shot and falls onto the controls altering the time to prehistoric times.
At the same time the terminator gets damaged and his mission is erased. He walks the earth not knowing what he is and what he was supposed to do and brings a new age and a better future to humankind and through time creates a civilisation of epic proportions.
The end, of terminator movies... forever.
Or is it muhahahaha!
