Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023)
Much better than I thought
Indiana Jones right back on form.
Wasn't expecting too much from this, but it has a good storyline, great mix of comedy and action, and kept going at a perfect pace.
Included a very strong performance from Phoebe Waller-Bridge who looked like she has been playing the role her while life,
I can definitely see this leading to a follow up series of films with her in the lead role, with maybe a cameo from the main man
All the usual characters were there, evil baddies intent on world domination, snakes, creepy crawlies, some very good chase scenes.
A great way to say goodbye to Indiana, and say hello to a new Archeological hero.
The Orville: Midnight Blue (2022)
That's plenty of that storyline please
Enough of the Topa morality storyline, we get it. Can we please get back to being an action space adventure with some good humour thrown in. Getting more like a poor soap opera every week.
Pistol (2022)
More fiction than fact
Very heavily aimed towards Steve Jones. Johnny Rotten comes across more like Rik Mayall than himself. Watching this, you would think that Matlock and Cook were just passengers
Nowhere near enough music. Reasonably entertaining though.
The Scotts (2020)
Brilliant
Been waiting a long time for the guys to resurrect Burnistoun. This is even better. Great characters, fantastic patter, and a really good format. Roll on series 2.
