The Flipping El Moussas (2023)
Who thought this was a unique idea?
This is regurgitation in a weird hyper mode. I got through one episode, and there is nothing compelling about these two together. Nor is there anything new. As with his ex, vocal coaching lessons should be mandatory. It's like nails on a chalkboard, and the chalkboard flopped. Tarek has been around the block long enough to know that some things do not last forever. He is now hard to watch. Not interested in a reality show about evolving / devolving love lives in lieu of knowledge, ability and talent. HGTV has been losing its focus for some time. Sniffing candles? For real? The annoyance factor of this show wreaks.
Guy's Chance of a Lifetime (2022)
Really Wanted This To Work
Food Network should change its name to Guy Fieri Channel. I apprehensively invested my time in a series that was like a bad car wreck. I really wish they could get back to basics, lose most of the competitions and maybe get a band (like Emeril back in the day). The only reason I didn't bail on the chicken tenders controversy was because I couldn't find the remote.
Christina on the Coast (2019)
Keeping Up With Christina
I could better get through this show if Christina would take vocal coach lessons. Her voice is like nails on a chalkboard. I agree that the personal life stuff has given this purported home improvement show a Kardashian feel. I'm giving it five stars for the resultant beautifully finished projects, which is the only reason most of us want to tune in. Otherwise, yes ... we can head to Bravo for drama.
