The definition of an epic must surely be a film that is annoyingly too long. So many of the classics are so long and take so much time for anything to happen, that you are put to sleep before a word is even spoken.
"Lawrence of Arabia" is no exception, and for all the brilliant work that was put into making the film, it was all undone in taking 222 minutes to view it. If Lawrence could fit into 120-150 minutes, we would have had a winner.
For Lawrence "6.5 out of 10"
