The Electric Company was one of the best educational programmes that PBS has ever shown. I must have been watching reruns with my daughter in the early '80s and we were blown away by the energy and the talent on show (Ah - Rita Moreno and Morgan Freeman!). We sang the -LY song for years, but we have forgotten some of the words. One verse went:
