This very little known film, of great historical value, is important mostly for existing! The technology of modern cinema arrived in Greece only just before World War II, which stopped any such activity in the country under German occupation. But two years later, with the occupation costing the life of almost 10% of the population, this little film appears and fills up the theaters with viewers hungry for food and hope, giving lots of worries to the occupation authorities. Ignored today by everyone, it remains a treasure of the modern Greek culture, really a symbol of the soul of the nation!
