Is it just me, or is this just B-movie Die Hard in a mall? The perfect heist? An ingenious escape involving explosives? One cop who accidentally ends up in the middle of things? His wife used as a hostage? This all sounds very familiar. Hmmm....
On the other hand, it is reasonably entertaining, and if you liked Die Hard, and you're bored, and you see it come on on TBS, you could probably do worse. The guy who plays the main hero is no Bruce Willis, but he does a pretty good job here...
I could've done without the strobe effect in the tunnel at the end though. Is this required by the MPAA in all B-movies?
