Review of Day Break

Day Break (2006–2007)
10/10
probably too smart for the average viewer
30 November 2006
I am afraid Day Break won't be around for long. If this is so, it will be in large part to the fact that it is more cerebral than your average TV show these days. If you miss 15 minutes of the show, it is somewhat difficult to figure out what you missed. If you miss an entire episode, you may as well forget it. This is part of what makes the show terrific, and what well spell its doom in our microwave dinner / reality TV society. I really enjoy the subtle plot twists and turns that accompany each different decision Hopper makes. It is fun to watch as he attempts to assemble the pieces of an ever-changing puzzle of events. If you enjoyed Alias and NYPD Blue (and didn't mind Groundhog Day), then you will love Day Break.
