"The Hidden" is a fun 80s Sci-Fi/horror hybrid that works like "The Thing" meets "They Live" meets "The Terminator." An alien being jumps from human to human, taking what it wants and killing anyone that gets in it way. What does it want? To drive fast sports cars and listen to Concrete Blonde! Isn't that what we all wanted in the 1980s? Some of the special effects here are dated, but others hold up surprisingly well. Look for Claudia Christian in a funny small role as a stripper/alien. Michael Nouri is great as the lead character and Kyle MacLachlan, who I find bland in everything outside of Twin Peaks, is perfect in the role of a, well, bland FBI agent.
