The first thing I need to say is, I understand why a lot of people will not like this show. It is a modern family angle with overused plot and sense of mood and style, but on the other hand it fits my sense of humor (Which is probably a rare). The second thing I need to say is if you are watching this with a significant other (trying to be politically correct) you will probably enjoy this more than if you are single. There are three couples this television show focuses on (just like the three families in modern family) and they are all unique in their own way. I feel like the creators are trying to tell us something about relationships about how these are three primary types of couples you'll either run into or end up being like. Some of the sense of humor might be a little too dark for you (crippled pets), and some of the humor might be too obvious and over-done. Regardless, this is either a love it or hate it situation. Either way take it for what is and at least give it a shot before you jump to a conclusion. I know the advertising was awful. Good for couples, bad for singles.
