Saw Rebirth (2005)

The best thing that has been ever done in the "Saw" franchise

Warning: Spoilers
Okay, I have to admit that at first, I was reluctant to see this, mostly because I don't like very much the Saw franchise (I didn't like that much the first movie, and I hated the only two sequels that I watched) However, since I'm interested in motion-comics, I decided to give this a try.

Personally, I think that this short motion-comic was the best thing produced by the "Saw" franchise. Without having the same level of other motion-comics (Such as "Broken Saints") the result is way more interesting than the actual movies, with a convincing story, giving a much fascinating hindsight to the Maine antagonist of this saga, particularly his motivations and psychology at the very beginning of the history.

The art is fairly well done, the effects used to give a cinematic feeling to this comic were effective and the narration was good (Well, the voice was a bit cheesy at moments, but the overall result was still pretty decent) And the best part of it, is that this motion comic is able to be more suspenseful and interesting than all the Saw movies, being able to reach such achievement in a very short time, without having to use any of the annoying plot twists that sadly became a common characteristic of the "Saw" franchise.
