Every time i hear the opening score i get a little bit excited. Duuuuna Duuunna Duuuna Duna Duna. This is the way a cop drama should be made. I think it's about people, who happen to be cops. They get angry, sad , scared, , stressed, excited and bored. They don't see a gun battle and run in guns blazing to shoot the baddie and make a pun over his dead body about crime not paying. They get scared. They react like a human should. Some of them die, some of them are good, some of them are bad. Just people who we have asked to put there lives on the line for us. So i think the greatest compliment i can give this show is i appreciate the job cops do more. This show has had an impact on my real life views. The amount of shows or movies that this applies to can be counted on 1 hand.
