I had to check the movie title twice because I can't believe you folks watched the same film? I came to look at the reviews expecting a slag fest.
I realize a lot of hard work went into this film and the first half hour I was hooked.
But then...
The first girl dies while running away from a Zombie, not through the clear path which she's taken several times, but through the brush. we are supposed to believe that she gets so caught up in the thorns that her hands are held and she is rendered helpless as the zombie chows down on her. The kicker was that a thorn pokes her in the eye as she's already lost fingers to the zombie. I don't know if that was meant to be humorous but it made me laugh in disbelief.
I started to get the feeling that each character would find a silly way to get compromised and become fodder for the zombies, which in a sense was the case Except for the main heroin who kicked butt, that and the decent acting were the only saving graces for this movie in my opinion.
