Thought Provoking and Endearing
21 June 2015
The title of the movie is unusual. And you get to know in the very first scene the reason why the movie's title was chosen. The casting couldn't have been better. This was the first time, I heard the audience clapping and cheering for many of the dialogues.

The story is about two brothers living in a slum; helping their mother and grandmother by collecting charcoal from the railway line. The father is in prison for some crime (the story doesn't tell the audience the details of the crime) and the mother struggles to run the household. And you are not made to hold any grudges against the father. The bond between the two brothers is surreal. One fine day a Pizza chain is opened in their neighbourhood and then begins the irresistible impulse of the children to taste it. They try their hand in odd jobs to afford to buy one pizza. All this leads to a series of events which is quite thought provoking and endearing. Against the odds stacked up against the children, the smiles on their faces is adorable. Towards the end of the movie, the reaction of two boys when they do get to dig into the pizza - is priceless. For some reason the director doesn't tell the names of the boys; and you don't feel the need to know the names anytime. The movie has a strong storyline and so is the performances by all the characters. Every actor is true to their character portrayed.

This is a must watch. We would want to self analyse the manner in which we take things for granted and we treat our help & the lesser privileged society.
