Nothing to see here, move along....

Warning: Spoilers
I cannot believe that a supposed Star Wars fan of a director would think that this story was worthy to succeed the originals chronologically. Not only was the story unoriginal but cliché as well.

You would think someone like JJ Abrams, who did a fantastic job with Star Trek, would put as much or more energy into this, but alas, it felt as if they they did not put much thought behind the script. Even the dialogue itself felt clumsy and awkward most of the time.

There are countless stories written by comic book authors that would make excellent scripts, its too bad more directors of existing franchises don't pay more attention to the literature that already exists instead of reaching...flimsily, for content.
