Documentary doesn't do her talent justice

Warning: Spoilers
The title "Mo'ne Davis: I Throw Like a Girl" already says it all. It sound pretentious and is a failed attempt at humor, so right what you would expect from somebody like Spike Lee, a truly overrated and boastful filmmaker. The sad thing is that the people in this 16-minute film really deserve better as they have an interesting story to tell. Too bad they have to tell it to a truly annoying interviewer (I think it's Lee himself) who acts like he is friends with his interviewees and is much more interested in being in the spotlight himself looking at the way he asks questions than in telling a gripping story. It is about a girl who seems to be a great baseball prospect. With Lee directing, no need to tell she is African American. So yeah, somewhat interesting story, but bad execution by almost everybody who worked on this film that we do not see. Not recommended.
