Nice movie. A little bit boring at the first half. Flow was not fast (as recent movies have)until the last half hour of the movie. On the other hand, it had nice TRUE love stories expressing what love really is with feelings like mourn after death or separation, separation due to social marginalization. A couple of scenes i.e. poor cleaning woman's and her partner, expressed "love beyond everything" feeling which was pretty amazing. Scenes and outside takes are filmed to express the ethos of the times, representing the changes on the prostitute law at the times of filming. The fact that this movie was nominated for an Oscar might be predisposing viewers.
