Love Is Dead (2016)
8/10
The movie has the merit of bringing a fresh wind on the French comedies department, and that is no small achievement !

Who never had the will to avoid this delicate but yet impossible break up scene ? Despite being easy and radically cynical, it's needless to say that Eric Capitaine's new movie is also focused on something more serious: the creation of such a company can only come from a broken heart who is seeking to avenge, and why not while making money ! The duet of actors Benjamin Lavernhe/Elisa Ruschke is incredibly madcap and works very well. If the funny scenes take priority over the rest, especially with the different breaking up packages offered by the company, little by little, the ethics end up catching Mathias while his private circle starts to stick his nose into his business. From too much rejecting love, love ends up taking its own revenge. Break-up for everyone does not avoid a few pitfalls, like the underlying love story, predictable from the very first seconds, but still has the merit of bringing a fresh wind on the French comedies department, and that is no small achievement !
