I could go an extent in calling it the most elegant cop movie in Tamil cinema. Hats off the director who makes to sit on the edge of the seat from start to scratch. It shows the real ability of the police department and the sacrifices they make for the betterment of the society. Inspired by real-life events the story tells the audience of how exactly things unfolded. The characters portrayed in the movie are next to braininess. People in the movie have played their part very well. Karthi is fabulous in molding himself as the character Theeran. The actual Theeran would be flabbergasted watching the performance of Karthi. The supporting roles performed by Rakul Preeth Singh, Bose Venkat, and the rest are also commendable. The director has struck a beautiful balance between with the history to the present scenes. The villain gang is notorious, which scares people. It is sad to see the police are with their full power post the mishaps occurred in the life of a politician compared to a common person. It makes you even think about the notorious gang and the gruesome incident performed by them. You will definitely salute to the Tamil Nadu police department and the original man (Theeran) in solving a mysterious problem It is a blessing in disguise that we as an audience get to know the sacrifices performed by the top cops via a movie. We need more movies that show the brilliance of our people. Encourage people to walk into theaters and watch this movie as this is a one-off cop brilliance. If you are a fan of original movies/scripts, walk into a theater to watch this masterpiece. Finally, glad to see the unique work crafted by the director, unlike some of his counterparts who released a movie in the recent past by ripping scenes from old cult Tamil movies, which is utter nonsense.
