Patlabor 2: The Movie if looked at on the story alone, is great cinema. Excellent animation with great attention to detail. Great story. Highly technological, with attention to political and military intrigue. Was expecting more action and a lot less lecture. I understand it was necessary to the story, but a little more action would have made the story more interesting. All in all a great story with some reservations.
