If they make Sicario 3, they need to just pick one side and stick with it. Either make it s dramatic thriller like the first one, or make it straight up action like the last 30 minutes of this film. This movie is a mix bag, with scenes that are supposed to be dramatic but it just doesn't work. The action is the best part of this film, and there are more action scenes than the first one, which was boring due to Emily Blunt's character.
The violent action is the best part of this movie, and it should be the main focused on the 3rd one. We don't need another movie about "morals" and "ethics" because it just is silly when put in context with the action parts of this movie.
This movie has a great intro, with a cool 10 minute shootout in the middle, followed by an intense finale. I wish there was maybe 1 or 2 more shootout scenes because they really are well done. Hopefully the 3rd (and final) movie will just go all out with the action.
