Finally the episode i have been most exited about is here. The highlight of this episode was ofcourse seeing the amazing Jessica again as Constance who is my favorite AHS characters. However there is a few things about this season that i wont to point out that for me keeps it from reaching the level of the first seasons.
At first i have a problem with Cody Fern as Michael Langdon. I do not have anything against him but i think Ryan should have cast a more experienced actor for such a big role. Cody has just started his career and have not developed the skills to pull off such a big villan role. I think Michael should have looked more scary, have a more frightning and dark precense with a lot more character in him than What we should have gotten. I have not for once been scared or felt threatend by his apperance witch i think i should have. We are presented with a boy who dont look scary or act scary. Previous villans like Dr.Arden, Twisty and others is better examples of a good villan that a horror show should have.
The second problem for me is the insane amount of comedy that has been put in the show. For me it makes the show very mutch less creepy and dont get the same dark feeling to it like the first seasons did. They have always had a little comedy in AHS but they used it wisely and at the right times before. Now it is way to mutch, and it is more teenage related.
The last problem for me is what they did with Constance this episode. The writers is not doing as good as they used too and that definetly shows with a character as Constance who always delivered great lines and was very mystic. I think its cheap of the writers too show us that a character like Constance who is a strong character who had troubled kids her entire life kill herself because of a troubled kid. It just didnt Add up to the Constance we know. But Even tough the writers have been sloppy, Jessica made up for their mistakes with her incredible acting. And that made the whole episode for me.
