Ok, so the main negative things I have to say about this movie are the slow and clunky beginning (often felt quite amateurish), cliche writing and not the best performances from some very brilliant talent.
However, I found this film really watchable- particularly after the first 20 mins or so when things start to come together a bit. It's clever without being stuck up. Lot of contrasts (housing estates with Battersea town house, working poor with rich elite, right decisions with bad mistakes...) and it was all at times a bit obvious where subtly would have served better but really wasn't at all a bad movie. It kept me engaged and interested. Were the characters and their actions totally believable all the time? No, not really. But I still wanted to see how things turned out for them and how the story continued. So decent in my view!
