Mediocre song, equally forgettable music video

This is the music video for the song "Speechless" performed by Naomi Scott. It runs for slightly under 3.5 minutes and was released in 2019, so still really new and fresh. Of course this one is closely linked to the new blockbuster movie Aladdin that hit cinemas not too long ago and you can see that because there are several moments in this muci video when scenes from the film are included. The other scenes you see are basically from the recording studio as we see Scott trying to make the most out of this song. It's not really her fault it turns out so forgettable eventually. It is just not a good song by any means, so I would be surprised if it actually manages an Oscar nomination, also because it is still really long to the next ceremony. By the way, Scott is of course the actress who plays Jasmine in this new movie, which should be mentioned too because she is a British actress and not really linked to Arabia or so unless maybe with her extended family. I thought she was okay in the film and in thius music video too. Overall, I still think that this one we got here is not even remotely memorable and people who think of Aladdin and the songs from it will never make a connection with this one we got here. Thumbs down. I am glad it was this short.
