Noboday cares about the kids until they are dead
28 August 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Kholi Styles (Bryshere Y. Gray) is from South Chicago. His dad is an attorney, as they recently moved to an upscale neighborhood. After a party where there was drinking, lily-white Brian Sudermill (Kevin Quinn) is found dead at 4:30 AM outside his door. Kholi, who drove him home, is discovered standing over his body. He is charged with murder by a black DA from the neighborhood wanting to be mayor. His dad defends him mostly on faith alone.

This is a spiritual production that talks way too much about stereotypes. It got in the way of the film. We got the picture in the first few minutes, yet we are flooded with Second City talk show flunkies. The quality was better than the African-American films from Atlanta.

No swearing, sex, or nudity.
