As a former Australian Infantry soldier I sat down with a mate ( Malaya , Vietnam vet ) to watch this, half way through he asked me to turn it off. The depictions of Australian troops poor formation tactics talking etc. , drinking and smoking while at stand to, an Officer to busy playing cards with enlisted men to obey orders and the Officer Commanding D Coy assaulting an enlisted man was to much for his professional pride. With that said , the courage and fortitude of D Coy 6 RAR will always be remembered along with Kapyong with pride by the RAR they deserved to be portrayed as the real professionals they where.
