I subscribed to Starz purely to watch season 3 and 4 of this incredible show.
Each series has been so uniquely different and stands apart from anything else, be that tv or film.
Delivers an amazing otherworldly atmosphere, with great designs, effects, music and make up. The stories are utterly compelling, with characters and a cast that pull you in and make you really care for them. I never binge watch tv, but each season of Channel Zero I cant help but watch the next episode, I become so involved and engrossed.
This is the best that horror has to offer, I can't recommend it highly enough, especially for those looking for something different.
It feels like real labour of love and bucks the trend of recent horror being so ashamed of horror that it has to disguise itself as 'layered' art house - hereditary, it follows, the babadook.....I'm looking at you. Channel Zero reminds us that Horror can be layered without being stuck up it's own arse.
Must watch tv, and damn near perfect - just a pity it seems to fly under the radar and has tragically been cancelled.
