Elena Undone (2010)

Enjoyable but not Rememberable
9 January 2020
I did like this film, to state right off the bat. I've been a fan of T Dinwiddie since watching 'Raven's Touch', so to find out she was in one of the most famous lesbian drama's was so exciting to me!

After watching, I still couldn't figure out whether I liked it or not. I did, because I thought the storyline had potential and obviously loved 'Peyton'. However, I didn't particularly like 'Elena' played by Necar Zadegan. I don't know if it is because of the character and her far fetched nature or the actor's approach but something with her just didn't sit right. She seemed almost too dramatic and not quite naturalistic in a strange way.

Also, the editing was strange. Almost all of the transitions were a fade to black which just made it feel slow and poorly filmed.

But if you put past these attributes it is an enjoyable film. One to watch a few times before you can fully appreciate it! Also THANK YOU FOR ACTUALLY HAVING A HAPPY ENDING!!! Finally, Lesbians can actually live happily together.
