The Lighthouse (I) (2019)
7/10
Original, Stylish, Ambiguous and Open to Interpretation
29 January 2020
"The Lighthouse" is one of the most original, stylish, ambiguous and open to interpretation films recently released in the theaters. The originality and stylish begin with the black and white and screen size, with a theatrical story of madness that keeps the attention of the viewer until the last scene. The ambiguity is reflected in the different favorable opinions that we can find in Internet showing that the movie is open to interpretation. In addition, the performances of Robert Pattinson and Willem Dafoe are impressive. Last but not the least, "The Lighthouse" is the typical film that deserves to be watched more than once. My vote is seven.
