Raj Kapoor's best? May be. But surely different from all his other creations. A commercial flop, it's a movie that remains with you forever. The songs are legendary. Expect OTT acting in Kapoor's films, though Simi Grewal is a pleasant contrast. Despite usual titillations as Kapoor was prone to add, the movie tends to retains its integrity - that was Kapoor's hallmark.
