Another show that makes an attempt at being grand, meaningful and artistically sophisticated but ends up being an incoherent, confusing and disappointing mess.
It's odd that other reviewers don't seem to have noticed but this show is very similar to Kill Bill. Except Kill Bill has a (mostly) well designed plot, a clear story line which is not a futile struggle to follow and a series of rather satisfying dramatic climaxes and end game. One cannot state any of that about Reprisal which is just chaotic, surreal, (surreal doesn't mix well with the revenge thriller genre), with most characters and their actions unrealistic, random and nonsensical.
I gave this five and not one start because of the excellent/professional acting, visuals, cinematography, but with all that invested effort and talent they could have just written a far less ambitious and fancy and a lot more entertaining story. Too bad.
