Living in France then, as a 12 y.o., we were having Starsky & Hutch on TV on Sundays. It was beautifully dubbed in French, with the opening sequence soundtrack, one of the best and thrilling soundtracks that I've ever listened to.

The episodes were fun, sensible, action packed and full of laughter inducing moments.

Some viewers mention that it was one of the best buddy cop series of the 70s.

IMO, it's the best buddy cop series of all time.

No other two actors, characters in any series come close to them by a mile in terms of chemistry, cuteness and fondness for each other.

Their characters complemented each other so well. They cared for each other so fiercely they would have given their lives without hesitation.

There were many moments in many, many episodes where you could see that, feel it with your gut making you shiver and be in awe.

Episodes where one helped the endangered other were the best in my mind.

And one episode where Starsky helps a girl (Kim Catrall) having become blind because of him, was so beautiful, full of feelings and sensible moments that it will forever be close to my heart.

The scene at its end, in the parking lot, where the girl tells Starsky that she could see him and that he was as cute as he described himself was one of my everlasting favorite and brought tears to my eyes watching Starsky standing there, looking fondly at the girl with his awesomely handsome smile, his eyes bright with tears of joy and relief.

I was a teenager in the 80s, had the honor and pleasure to watch Starsky & Hutch and it shaped part of who I am today, surely and definitely.
