This little known gem is one of the best TV shows ever to hit the airwaves. It is a very smart situational comedy about relationships similar to the show Friends, and even with a couple of the writers of it, so Friends fans will love this! It stars three sets of couples, each representing a different type of relationship dynamic or type, exploring how different types of people relate and deal with different situations they encounter in their relationships, and how ridiculous relationships can be at times. One couple is the normal middle of the road couple, another couple is the more crazy couple who is less mature, and a bit more free spirited and wild, and the third is the conservative, well put together, classy, slightly more conservative and seemingly perfect couple who still has their own problems and shortcomings to deal with at times. Each episode finds each of the couples weaving their way in and out of different interesting scenarios together in a comically intersecting manner much like an Episode of Seinfeld. It is a highly intelligent and hilarious social commentary piece that will delight you and make you laugh out loud in every scene, as well as learn a little and think a bit about what it says about your own relationships and how you can better manage them.
The writing of this show is top notch for its genre. The acting is on point. And the directing and production are all really well done as well. This show is a masterpiece. A work of art that deserves to go down in history right alongside the classics. And I mean that sincerely. Watch it yourself and you will see why. This show was unfortunately airing right next to American Idol on a prime time spot, and so not enough people were tuning in and it stopped being made after just 13 episodes. But you have 4 hours and 20 minutes of pure viewing pleasure that they were able to make for us before the show was cancelled. And every moment of it is just top notch entertainment, some of the best you have ever seen on TV. It is unfortunate that it got cancelled but luckily we have what we have of this show to relish in. And luckily it never gets old either! It is so well done that I get as much out of every re-watch of every single episode as I did when I first saw it no matter how many times I re-watch it. I even find myself noticing new things each time I do. It is a hard show to find, but if you can find it it will provide you with a lot of entertainment over the years.
