The story kinda just rushes in and tries to fill in the blanks. This is drawing parallels on Slavery but at the same time relies on magic and power of belief.
Oppressed intelligent animals must believe in a fairy tale that will give them back the power and set them free.
The characters, the way of life& their motivations are all a bit silly in this story of repression.
There are also what I would call many filler scenes to cutting back to Mosley annoying kid.
If you start asking "but why?" on many of the story progressions it falls apart so quickly.
It was silly and not well written. Animation was fairly decent though.
