Basically Blackish but Less Funny....
23 April 2020
Just a brief description of #blackaf characters and overall situations is this: a successful but selfish father, a biracial mom with a high paying job, an intellectual daughter, a not so smart son, well two, a daughter that everyone is terrified of, and family members that live in Compton has a missed connection with their black culture and relating to other people of the same race.

Here's blackish characters and overall characters and situations: a successful but selfish father, a biracial mom with a high paying job, an intellectual daughter, a not so smart son, well two, a daughter that everyone is terrified of, and family members that live in Compton has a missed connection with their black culture and relating to other people of the same race.

Black AF is basically blackish but the only good thing is Rashida Jones, as for everything else is unoriginal and drops no new issue to table. Just like blackish, the characters are the exact same (the younger daughters in both are feared by the family, a selfish but successful father, an intellectual older daughter), almost similar situations.

But what makes me wonder is why Kenya Barris is more on the side of biracial characters instead of full black characters. It's either you're white or you're mixed really in his series. Besides Blackish and #BlackAF, the father is always full on black.
