I am not someone familiar with Freud's personal works but as a series I'd say it was enjoyable to a certain point. I loved how some characters were developed (the maid, inspector's friend) but after the fourth episode it all went downhill plot wise. I was terribly confused and lost until the finale where they try somewhat to stitch it all up. We are generally in a state of boredom right now that is why this a series I'd recommend you to watch to observe some pretty people with pretty scenery and mise en scene. However if you expect a good series this isn't it.
