Gone I would say is somewhat similar and the same high quality in keeping people caught to the end. The stories can be interesting, and usually there are several suspects that makes you try to draw your own conclusions.
When that is said, it's not a WOW experience. Just plain good old fashion entertainment that can make you think of all the destinies out there. There's nothing new we haven't seen before, that's why I give it a 7 and not 9 or 10, but it's a good solid series.
