The 12th Man review

The true story of one wounded man's tortuous flight from the Nazis across the inhospitable, sub-zero landscape of Norway. Thomas Gullestad is good in the title role, and the film is riveting while he's on his feet, but the pace falters dramatically once a gangrenous foot means he has to rely on others to try and smuggle him across the border into neutral Sweden. Jonathan Rhys Meyers also stands out as the ruthless Nazi officer who refuses to give up the chase.
