Deep Dive

This is clearly not a film for those with the attention span of a 3 year old. This film has so many nuances and horror tropes that most will miss. From the main character's last name to the Friday the 13th connections of cast and writer. I would have liked more action away from the house, what I did see only added to the intrigue. The film's pacing was solid and the score was spot on. I loved the opening graphics and the creepy "souvenirs" that the serial killer collected from his victims. There were a few scenes in which one of the actors was clearly overacting, but that isn't the first time I have witnessed him doing that. His fans will just chalk it up to him being him. I would love to see a sequel!
