Doris Lang was bitten by a vampire so she hires a vampire hunter called D to hunt down this vampire. While keeping it a secret from her little brother.
I watched both the VHS and the re release blu-ray versions and while I do prefer the blu-ray release since it's in HD format which you probably wouldn't have got at the time. But the VHS was okay despite moments of poor quality.
On to the story it's a pretty good classic watch. The animation was good and it looked better in HD. I thought the first dub was pretty bad as everyone sounded like someone from a cheesy children's horror film. The second dub was a bit better but on a sub-par with it's original audio. If you want to watch it dubbed I recommend the new Sentai dub.
If you are getting in the spirit for halloween I recommend this.
