I live for movies like this, it is brave and gritty, not the usual holywood fodder.
The gods are flawed as the sagas signify, the actors are beleivable...not pretty boys or half starved models, though its not 100% acurate to the sagas and many main characters not present...it was brave enough to make the mythology work for its own take....I was thoroughly hooked from the start and nothing angered me about its interpretation, I see a lit of bad reveiws here....please judge for yourself, I am a heathen and a researcher of norse mytholology and I personally loved this - why? Because it has a real beleiveable feel...not glamorised and a holywood style affair. I was entertained
