This is a retelling of the classic "Love Affair" which has been redone on numerous occasions "An Affair to Remember", "You've got mail" to mention a few. This involves a Russian mom who leaves her cheating husband with her son and while seeking a divorce gets a job on a ship where she works in the bar and a selfish egotistical soccer player who through the antics of his girlfriend and drunk self gets into a potentially career ending car accident...from which he runs away from his obligations on to this exclusive ship. There he meets our blond single mom and falls in love. Like in the original an accident occurs that prevent these two from meeting again...but thanks to a little persistence on our soccer players part a happy ending is had by all.
