Even though I have ADD, I never got bored or wondered how much time was left in the movie. I think the pacing was great and the moments of tension were incredibly artistically done.
I loved Jean's evolution from "purposeless" (as another reviewer described her) to driven and I thought her character was just so well done! Her immediate connection with the baby was incredibly beautiful and real but the best part was that it wasn't Jean's only personality trait - she was her own person and not just a mother who loves her child (you can tell this was directed by a woman because of how beautifully illustrated this female-centered experience is).
also the outfits were incredibly scrumptious... just had to put that out there.
i could go on but just please watch it and don't stop halfway through because the baby cries like any actual baby would like come on bro turn your volume down a bit if it really bothers you that much but keep watching.
