Mutant X is by far one of the worst series I have ever watched. I know it's already 20 years old, but Jesus the dialogues, special effects, story, music, fighting scenes and so on are so cheap and terrible that it gave me headaches. I couldn't bring myself to continue watching after the first season, it's just too bad. These teenie dramatic love stories and the music they add during the fight scenes are too much for me. The show reminds me the power rangers series. I know some people love watching trash or B-Movies, if you are looking for a trash series, then go with it.
