If you want to make a historic film about a remarkable woman but ignore the facts of her life; that she grew up poor, and that she taught herself to read and went on to become a female pioneer in paleontology I am all with you. But would you accept a lie of this kind today, if it had been the other way around? I will not accept this type of deliberate falsification of history with the excuse that in today's environment of identity politics anything goes.
