The premise is worn out with the boy from the wrong side of the tracks, old school Italian working class family and the Ivy League Jewish girl going places in life. Of course she gets mixed up in his dirty business and it all goes south but if you ask me they were both trash to begin with. It is hard to watch and listen to a film without even one interesting or original line.
This is just another attempt by Hollywood to convince everyone the culture is nothing but lowlifes who spew refuse, do hard drugs and commit felonies. I did not even know people like this growing up.
