I like British films but this wasn't terribly exciting. It was basically a relationship drama more than about "Big Pharma" as we call it in the states.
It's a really slow, emphasis on s-l-o-w, burn with no real payoff other than if you were invested in the main character then you might like the ending which ends on a hopeful note.
If you wanted to see David slay Goliath, then you'll be terribly disappointed. The lead actress's acting was pretty good in coveying a variety of emotions. And she was the only thing keeping my interest. It was a bit of a slog.
