This show is bad, in a great way. I love it. It can get very intense and dramatic. But that's a good thing, it makes the series really addictive. Constance Zimmer and Shiri Appelby are phenomenal in this. Especially Appelby, who's been given the heaviest storylines. The other cast members have nothing to be ashamed of either. They're all good. And I'm sure the direction has a lot to do with it. The script don't bother with stupid political correctness, and just stick to the story. Which is something so rare these days, it needs to be pointed out. The soundtrack isn't too bad either. The series finale chose a safer path, but it's interesting to imagine how this new dynamics might have worked, if given time to develop...
