Bosch: Legacy (2022– )
8/10
Glad to have Bosch back

Warning: Spoilers
I wasn't sure how I was going to feel with this show. The original series were so good - ok they had the odd wobble in later years - but you know what I mean. Four episodes in, I'm liking it!

It has continued the format of several stories running alongside each other. Titus continues to be a great lead. Chandler's character gets a lot more screen time and plays more of a part in the parallel stories.

I only have two complaints really (a mark off for each):

1. Bosch has lost access to his stunning hillside home and no longer works from the LAPD precinct, and now lives and works in a grubby apartment. Chandler no longer works for her big corporate law firm and works out of a house where we only ever see one room. It all kinda feels like they were trying to cut corners on sets and locations, and it's just too obvious.

2. Maddie is another one getting a lot of screen time this time around. And, unfortunately, she has always been a negative for Bosch. Madison Lintz just can't act! She's playing a rookie here stumbling through how to be a police officer. But she was already a mediocre actress stumbling through how to act. Her scenes are hard to watch and honestly add zero to the show.
